EYES Optometry Goes From #5 to #1 After New Website Launch

EYES had built a distinctive eye care brand in Kingsville, combining advanced clinical care with a premium eyewear experience. Its website hadn’t kept pace.

YQG rebuilt it from the ground up, combining custom design, original photography, patient tools and search migration into a website built around the business EYES is today.

02 — The Problem

EYES Had Outgrown Its Website

The existing website had become difficult for the EYES team to grow with.

New treatments, eyewear, online booking and the relationship with sister brand BRIGHT all needed a clearer place within the site. Routine updates were also taking too long through the previous provider.

EYES needed a website it could build on, with a local team capable of moving as quickly as the business did.

The challenge:

Build a website EYES could grow with, without losing what already worked.

03 — The Rebuild

The Website Needed to Feel Like EYES

YQG Digital worked with the EYES team to create a cleaner, more distinctive website built around the brand.

That included a custom photo shoot capturing the clinic, team, eyewear and personality of EYES rather than relying on generic imagery.

The photography and website were developed together, giving the new site a visual identity that belongs specifically to EYES.

The result is a website that feels much closer to the experience patients get when they walk through the door.

04 — Functionality

Built Around How Patients Use the Website

The rebuild went beyond the visual design.

YQG added online booking, ecommerce, improved treatment pages, live chat and interactive tools that give patients more ways to engage with EYES online.

One example is the custom Dry Eye Test, which allows visitors to assess their dry eye symptoms directly through the website and receive a clearer next step.

05 — Protecting and Growing Search Visibility

Strong Rankings Were Protected. Others Went Even Higher.

EYES already had an established local search presence, so rebuilding the website meant protecting the visibility the business had spent years earning.

YQG Digital migrated the existing content and carefully handled the site structure, URLs, metadata and technical launch to carry that search equity into the new website.

But maintaining those rankings was only part of the result. Several valuable searches that were already performing well moved even higher after launch, including Neurolens Windsor from #5 to #1, Comprehensive Eye Exam Kingsville from #3 to #1, and Eye Clinic Kingsville from #4 to #2.

For searches with real commercial intent, moving from an already strong position into the top results can create significantly more opportunity than the ranking change might suggest.

    06 — The Outcome

A Website That Can Keep Up With EYES

EYES now has a website that better reflects the business it has become.

It brings the clinic’s services, eyewear, people and patient experience together in one place while giving the team a stronger platform to build on.

And when the business needs something changed, YQG is already there. Since launch, website update requests have typically been completed within 24 hours.

Has Your Business Outgrown Its Website?

If your business has evolved but your website still reflects where you were years ago, it may be time to build something around where you’re going next.
